Winnetka Walk to Town

Nestled along the shady tree streets of Winnetka, this 1890s gem had devolved into an unloved rental property. Our clients, a young family, wanted to give it a new life. We removed a rear kitchen addition that was sinking into the earth and provided a new addition that better suited the original design. The entire home was renovated down to the studs. The charming front porch, sun room and other original details were restored while a new Family Room and Mud Room were added to the rear with a new Primary Suite above to create a home suited to both its historic roots and a growing family’s needs.
